America!  You’re Too Young To Die!

INTRODUCTION

The ruins of the ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah have been located along the western shores of the Dead Sea.  They stand there in stark contrast to the mountains around them.  God preserved the huge ruins of white ash as a reminder that God’s Word, the Bible, is not a fairy tale to be taken lightly.  His Word is literal and absolutely true.

Does the discovery of the cities destroyed by a literal rain storm of sulfur pellets and fire have any implication for a modern, end-time nation that flaunts its immorality and perversion?

Will the tragic story of Sodom and Gomorrah ever be repeated?

The answer to these questions is a tragic and resounding yes!  The ancient prophets of God spoke of a mighty, end-time nation that they referred to as “the daughter of Babylon”.  According to the prophets, that youngest and most powerful of nations will one day experience the same tragic fate as Sodom and Gomorrah –

“As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, saith the LORD, so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell in her.”  Jeremiah 50:40

After nearly 20 years of Biblical research, the author carefully reveals the Old Testament and New Testament descriptions of a great end-time nation that is referred to in the Scriptures as “Babylon” and the “daughter of Babylon.”  The reader will be surprised at the clarity with which the prophets wrote.

The warnings proclaimed clearly in God’s Word, the Bible, should be taken seriously by all nations and individuals –

God “turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;”   2 Peter 2:6

In the midst of His message of coming doom upon an immoral, godless society, God also gives hope to those that will believe –

God “delivered just lot, vexed with the filthy manner of life of the wicked . . . The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations . . . “

2 Peter 2:7 and 9

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”  2 Peter 3:9
