AN AMAZING ARTIFACT FROM SOLOMON’S TEMPLE
It is
interesting that Wyatt brought out a tiny ivory
pomegranate from his excavations somewhere below the
Calvary Escarpment. That ancient relic is on display at
the Israel Museum in Jerusalem.
I saw it on a trip to Jerusalem in April, 2006. If you ever visit the museum, just ask for the pomegranate. Everyone knows exactly where it is kept under high tech surveillance.
Postcards and small jewelry items of the pomegranate are available in the museum store. A little booklet accompanies the jewelry with this inscription –
This piece of jewelry is an actual-size replica of an ivory pomegranate, dating to the 8th century B.C.E., probably a remnant from Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem, the only existing artifact from the First Temple known to us today. The ancient Hebrew inscription reads: ‘Belonging to the Temple of (Yahveh) Holy to the Priests.’”
Whether Wyatt’s claims of the hidden Ark sprinkled by the actual blood of Christ will someday be verified or proven false, it is noteworthy that he found that priceless little pomegranate and that it came out of his diggings deep below the apparent area of the crucifixion.
The finding of the Ark of the Covenant could have an interesting impact upon future political developments in Israel. The Jews want to build their Temple and re-establish their ancient worship. The Dome of the Rock sits in the spot where that Temple would be rebuilt.
The
Arab world is committed to keeping the Jewish Temple
from ever being built on Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
Many are also committed to the eventual annihilation of
the State of Israel.
The events leading to the explosive fulfillment of the Prophetic Scriptures could be greatly accelerated by the finding of the Ark of the Covenant or the destruction of the Dome of the Rock.
At a PowerPoint presentation of the Second Temple in Denver in 2005, I asked a Jewish man giving the lecture, if the new Temple could possibly be built next to the Dome of the Rock. His answer was guarded but conclusive – “In physics, we know that no two items can occupy the same space.”
What incredible days these are to be living and possibly witnessing the events unfold that were prophesied in the ancient Scriptures!
As events develop, this site will post any forthcoming news.
DISAPPOINTING JERUSALEM DIG:
In an effort to confirm some of Mr. Wyatt's claims about the crucifixion site and discovery of the Ark of the Covenant, a group of people dedicated to Wyatt Archeological Research (WAR) began a series of "digs" in Jerusalem beginning in 2003. In 2006, after finding no evidence to confirm Mr. Wyatt's earlier claims, WAR publicly decided to publish this disclaimer:
The excavations of 2005 and 2006 at the Garden Tomb, in Jerusalem, did not completely confirm the findings as stated by the late Ronald E. Wyatt during his periods of excavation during the years 1979 to 1989. We no longer have the personal account of Ronald Wyatt to help guide us. For these reasons, until further research, the Ark of the Covenant materials presented by Wyatt Archaeological Research prior to 2005 have been removed from circulation. ....Dr. Jerome Niswonger and Eric Lembcke

Board of Directors,

Editor's Observation: Keep in mind that anyone seeking to discredit the claim's of Ron Wyatt would have had ample opportunity to remove all evidence such as his reported "cross hole." My greatest reason to give Wyatt the benefit of the doubt is to remember that the Israeli's had much confidence in his integrity and his previous finds. There was a reason that the Israel Antiquities Authority came to him for advise and gave him the authority to dig where others had been denied. At this writing, it is important that we classify Ron Wyatt's archeological digs in Jerusalem as "interesting" and let time reveal what God wants revealed.
