GUILTY YET FREE! (Continued)

The guilty lad turned himself in to the police, and as he confessed to his crime, he knew that that  he deserved to be punished.

But when he was taken before the judge, he was told that his brother WILLINGLY DIED in his place.  The price  was paid,  the court was satisfied and he was free to go!

In the same way, God will release us from the penalty for all our sins, because Jesus DIED IN OUR PLACE!  The Bible says -- "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us."  Galatians 3:13

You see . . . Jesus completely satisfied the perfect law and the  justice of God by dying for us so that He could give us the gift of eternal life.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."  Romans 6:23

The Bible says that to be saved from our sins we must believe in Jesus Christ and RECEIVE Him as our own personal savior.  You can do that right now by simply praying to God.  Confess to Him that you are a lost sinner.  Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive you and come into your life as Savior and Lord.  In you own words you can pray like this:  "Dear God, I know that I am a lost sinner and that I cannot save myself.  I do believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross in my place as my Savior and substitute.  I now want to receive Jesus as my Savior and invite you to come into my life.  Forgive me and wash all of my sins away . . . and help me to live for You and tell others what you have done for me.  In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!"

THOSE WHO TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AS SAVIOR AND LORD, ARE GUILTY OF SIN . . . BUT FREE!
